Canadian born and educated scholar, interested in the effective and responsible use of humor in persuasion: such as in advertising, team-building, teaching, politics, or coaching. Too often, humor does not accomplish the goals it was expected to achieve and can even create unanticipated problems. The situtation can be improved with fewer slogans and more theory development. I hope to contribute to this effort, while teaching MBA students using the Harvard case method.
