Jim Lyttle
I am interested in the effective and responsible use of humor in persuasion such as in therapy, politics, teaching, or advertising. My impression is that humor, properly defined, rarely does the job it is expected to do and often creates harm that has not been predicted. I believe this situation can be improved with less advocacy and more theory development.
